SAE Testing Spec Change
editThe specification page on the Acura site states that the SAE testing procedure has changed resulting in lower reported power/torque figures.
I beleive it has to do with companies using differnt form of messuring HP and TQ
also because of the minor changes in chasis and informal engine heat reported from later models
SAE Standards
editThe SAE system was changed a few years ago. That's the reason for the discrepency in HP.
Replacement
editThe CSX is not the successor for the RSX. Even if in Canada it is no longer sold, in the rest of the world it may still be available. --143.166.226.43 14:04, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Image
editI looked over the license for the image, and I replaced it. The main reason why I replaced the image is because the licensing seemed to be strict, and I was questioning wether if we could use it. So, I replaced it with one I took that is fully free to use. I mostly did it as a precaution, it is a hard call to know if we can use it, so I did it just to be safe. I don't think Karrmann's main image of the RSX does it justice... the snow is distracting.
I replaced it with a very clean one from flickr.com with a CC license, and notified the author. -inky159
- Congrats for making the most pointless change in Wikipedia history. Recury 21:08, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Changes from 2004 to 2005
editThe 2004 already had heated side mirrors. Denimadept 17:55, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Integra not RSX
editsorry the car is an Integra. I might be known as an RSX in some markets, but it is an Integra, RSX is just a re-badging. Sennen goroshi (talk) 16:19, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- It's not known by that name in the USA. We wouldn't find it under this name. Move it back. - Denimadept (talk) 18:04, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- To follow up, you're welcome to create a new article under the other name if you wish. - Denimadept (talk) 18:06, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, I didn't realise that wikipedia was only for the US and based only on US viewpoints. I guess as a Brit living in Japan (the car is called an Integra in both nations) I am out of luck. Sennen goroshi (talk) 18:29, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, that's right. What, you mean there are other points of view? No wai! - Denimadept (talk) 20:36, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- other points of view? of course there are - it's just that the other points of view are incorrect. Sennen goroshi (talk) 20:38, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Right, thanks. So put it back. :-p That was self-depreciating sarcasm, SG. - Denimadept (talk) 20:44, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Nope, I am a stubborn and arrogant Brit - I will not be putting it back. In all honesty I think it should stay as Integra - but I do welcome meaningful debate on the subject. Debate that agrees with my POV is even more welcome. Sennen goroshi (talk) 20:49, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- It definately is an Integra, it is simply marketed as an Acura stateside, i realize that im stating the obvious, but i dont feel there is any need to fight over this issue. By the way i own one. 2005 type s with the k20z1. Its a great car. For the record i live in los angeles, CA
and yes it is an integra. Just like the TSX is a honda accord type s overseas. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.123.123.242 (talk) 19:50, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
I'd like to ask from who's point of view is this written and what source has been used to gather thins info I haven't een finished reading the introduction and it says that there is only a base model released in the australian market, "........In other places, (e.g. Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia) only the base version is available." I know this is untrue because I have personally driven atleast 3 different models in Australia including a Type R (I believe these are actually a Type S rebadged) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mushutak (talk • contribs) 02:32, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
