Exclaimation point!

edit

Is there supposed to be an exclaimation point in the title of this article?! aliceinlampyland 14:31, 6 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

I checked their site, they do not use the exlamation mark. So I'm moving it to Akbayan Citizens' Action Party. --Revolución (talk) 23:51, 9 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality in question?

edit

A lot of the "Program and Political Agenda" as well as the "Objectives" section sounds directly imported from their platform page here: http://www.akbayan.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19&Itemid=62 Franck Drake (talk) 16:13, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Important info to be added....

edit

How come the political ideology is only mentioned in the infobox? That's pretty central to the party. And none of the national chairpersons are mentioned? Consider these as suggestions for "next steps" with this article. ɳorɑfʈ Talk! 21:18, 26 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Akbayan Citizens' Action PartyAkbayanWP:CONCISE & WP:COMMONNAME. The short name is used more frequently. Same with Lakas-CMD. Shhhhwwww!! (talk) 06:21, 16 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Support, as per WP:COMMONNAME. Media uses the shorter name in many reports without mentioning the full name.--Hariboneagle927 (talk) 09:01, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, RJFF! I've removed another chunk. This problem goes right back to the initial version of the article, which was copied from www.akbayan.org (archived version from February 2004). I think the article is now clean, but anyone who notices more suspect content, please ping me. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 00:08, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Number of local councilors

edit

Do we have reliable information on the number of Akbayan seats in city and municipal councils? Perhaps by looking at which of them running with the Akbayan label in 2022 won + party switches? The number on the article is "10" but it's been left unsourced. Recently on September 25, same day as Rep. Cendaña taking An Waray's vacated seat, a municipal councilor in San Andres, Catanduanes, Joal Cocjin, switched from independent to Akbayan. Akbayan on Facebook.
