Hi; The Municipal Government Board Information is out of date. Rather than regressing to out of date information, please review and confirm my draft entry at the Alberta Municipal Government Board talk page.

Additionally, Housing is back with the Alberta Municipal Affairs ministry. The article needs to be updated for this change.

I noticed your edits, and created two redirects (Municipal Government Board and Alberta Municipal Government Board) to the section within this article. I did this before I noticed your contributions at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Alberta Municipal Government Board (I should have read your above message more carefully). Regardless, I'm not certain a separate article for the MGB is necessary. The MGB section in this article could be the home of MGB content (like how Capital Region Board content is located at Edmonton Capital Region), but others may feel differently.

The whole "Ministry structure" section requires updating with inline citations, including the "Municipal Government Board" subsection. I meant to update it previously after updating the lead and the "History" section in 2010, but forgot to return. Feel free to take a crack at it.

Thanks for your note Hwy43. First, re: housing, my reading of recent press releases (I have no other sources) indicates that perhaps there will be further re-organization of Alberta housing. Given that it may only be a short wait for new announcements, I'll wait before updating this further.

Second, re: the Muncipal Government Board, I am slowly adding further content. The version you likely looked at was too short of content to merit being an article. While I have a fair bit of newbie energy, I think that there is also a lot of work to do to expand on administrative tribunals in Alberta. Some, like the Alberta liquor and gaming commission have a solid entry. Quite a few others do not. Possibly a good beginning project would be to compile a list of them. Do you think it would have project Alberta's support? Erz_Alexander

There will be a new cabinet announced in the next week or so due to the recent election results, which may reassign existing ministers and will add new ministers, and which may merge and split ministries. It is best to wait as you suggested.

Many of Alberta's ministries are presently without articles. My suggestion would be to concentrate on establishing articles on all ministries in advance of any articles on the administrative tribunals they are responsible for. I have a list of which are without articles somewhere, which will likely change after the new cabinet is announced.
