Fair use rationale for Image:The Viceroy's Daughters.jpg
editImage:The Viceroy's Daughters.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Gossip
edit- "She later became a mistress of Oswald Mosley, her sister Cynthia's husband, as did their stepmother, Grace."
It doesn't seem like either reference is a reliable source of such personal information, one being an email address (what?) and it is impossible to get access to either source to verify this large claim is true. There is nothing about this on the biography of Grace Curzon or in the obituary for Alexandra Curzon that was printed in the paper. I think if there are going to be allegations, especially about become the mistress of your brother-in-law, there should be something substantial to back it up. 69.125.134.86 (talk) 00:49, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

editIs it just me or is a sentence like "Before World War II she earned the sobriquet Baba Blackshirt, and for a while played a murky role as a semiwitting go-between for Mosley and her other lover at the time, Dino Grandi, Benito Mussolini's ambassador to London, while simultaneously enjoying the romantic devotion of the foreign secretary, Lord Halifax who was staying at the same Dorchester Hotel as Alexandra and her sister." generally incomprehensible? It would be great if this could be split into two or three shorter sentences to improve clarity. Cyan22 (talk) 21:57, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- This should also be reworded (or put in quotes) because the first half of the sentence is quoted directly from the NYT article which is referenced: https://www.nytimes.com/2002/06/02/books/poor-little-rich-girls.html --Jazzratchet (talk) 21:23, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
