Very important to add some mention of Alfred Deakin's spirituality-it was the engine room of his career.Fauncet (talk) 23:42, 15 July 2009 (UTC) |

Was Alfred Deakin a Georgist?
editSimilar comments to what I said in Talk:Andrew Fisher. It seems odd that this was not mentioned in the article before it popped into the lede. And I cannot find any mention of it in the newspapers during his lifetime. Kerry (talk) 23:58, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
The Honourable
editI'm not sure the prefix The Honourable should be used in the infobox. The US President is referred to also as The Honourable but we do not see "The Honourable Joe Biden" in his infobox. That is my opinion on the matter. Векочел (talk) 00:15, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
- thanks Векочел fro bringing this to the talk page. The purpose of the infobox "honorific-prefix" is to include honourifics such as the Honourable. I have no idea whether or not the US President is given the title (it certainly wouldn't be spelt that way) nor is it relevant to whether this person was referred to with this honourific prefix. The consensus in relation to Australian politicians, consistently used for virtually every Prime Minister, Premier & other ministers granted the right to retain the title is to include it, (or the related the Right Honourable if they're a member of the Privy Council} at this place on the infobox. --Find bruce (talk) 00:44, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
