In biographical articles, the subject should be refereed to by their surname after the initial mention (per MOS:SURNAME). In this article, that surname seems to vascillate between Moyer and Wing. Need to determine which is the correct surname, and use it consistently. --Gronk Oz (talk) 11:49, 31 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
I checked, Wing is used only for other family member not to her, the complete/correct name is "Alice Curtice Moyer Wing" used just at the beginning, for introduction, after that, she is always referred as Moyer, which is the name she used for most of her active life. The unusual thing is that, her grandmother was Wing, and she herself married a Wing as second marriage. --Elisa.rolle (talk) 12:07, 31 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for clarifying that. The discrepancy between the name in the lead (which gives Wing as the surname) and Moyer used elsewhere was confusing ... or maybe it's just getting too late at night. Anyway, the reasoning is captured here now so it won't need to be asked again. --Gronk Oz (talk) 12:35, 31 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
