Globalize tag

edit

I added this tag as the article doesn't list any of the Mexicans who survived this battle. Aren't they also worth mentioning? --Nick Dowling (talk) 03:46, 15 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Good point. I'm going to move this to a different title to reflect that it is only the Texian survivors. Karanacs (talk) 13:48, 15 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

FA rating

edit

This article is rated FA-class under the Military History project banner. I've tried changing this to FL, but it doesn't seem to be working. Any one know how to fix this? Mm40 (talk) 19:42, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

It looks like the Military History project doesn't have FL class enabled. You might leave a message on the project talk page and see if someone wants to set it up. Karanacs (talk) 14:22, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

List formatting

edit

Karanacs, is your long-term goal FT? WP:DTT for lists was created in 2010, which is a couple of years after this made FL. But if you like, I can add the necessary coding on this list. It's mostly just inserting scope="col" and scope="row". — Maile (talk) 13:23, 7 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

My original goals were a FT for Alamo and one for Texas Revolution. The Alamo articles aren't currently high on my list. If you want to make this meet the more recent standards, that would be awesome :). Karanacs (talk) 20:17, 7 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Jesse B. Badgett

edit

Jesse B. Badgett was not on the List of Alamo defenders, and not on this list. Apparently, he was both a defender and survivor.

  • Kemp, L. W. "Jesse B. Badgett". Handbook of Texas Online. Texas State Historical Association. Retrieved June 14, 2015..

The garrison elected two delegates to the convention. You have Maverick. Badgett is the other one. I'm not sure if you want to include him, since he ceased to be a Texian once he signed the Declaration of Independence. — Maile (talk) 23:08, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Since there has been no response to this thread, I finally added Badgett to this list of survivors. — Maile (talk) 14:26, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Moses Rose removed

edit

Per Karanacs research on List of Alamo defenders, this talk page edit, Moses Rose has been removed from survivors as having been a myth, never inside the Alamo. — Maile (talk) 12:28, 24 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Adding names to match survivors on List of Alamo defenders

edit

Since this list became FL in 2008, Karanacs and others did a lot more research into who was there and survived. The most current list from that research is List of Alamo defenders. To match up the lists, missing survivor names have been added here. The majority of additions were Juan Seguin's company. 1, 2. — Maile (talk) 14:28, 24 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
