- Support merge, but in the other direction, on two grounds. Firstly, much of the KAL1 gene article discuss (quite rightly) the function of the protein anosmin-1, and hence it seems that the protein is the more notable concept. Note also that the official gene name has changed to ANOS1, so KAL1 would not be the preferred name (even if others support a gene name). Klbrain (talk) 22:50, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
