editHow tall are the masts? Are all masts insulated against ground?
Article name
editAccording to the NPL press release and a photo of the sign at the entrance on MB21, this place is known as Anthorn radio station. I propose to move the article accordingly if there are no objections.--Harumphy (talk) 10:28, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Call Sign
editVarious sites give different call signs. I've no idea which is correct. GBZ seems more popular on google searches than GQD. Maddog Battie (talk) 22:21, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
- According to the recent (February 2012) reply send by the MoD to the enquiry of a radio amateur: "... they do not have callsigns since they transmit data and not voice but instead have 'broadcast designator codes', which are as follows: Anthorn's 'broadcast designator code' is GQD and Skelton's `broadcast designator code' is GZQ."
