Apartheid (crime)Crime of apartheid – The main name for this topic should be the formal title of "crime of apartheid" to better distinguish and disambiguate it from Apartheid with a capital "A", i.e.: South African Apartheid. By having the page name phrased as Apartheid (crime), we display apartheid with a lower case "a" (the crime) as Apartheid with an upper case "A", which would be best avoided for clarity. Not sure that big A and little a is a definitive rule as such but in any case, the proposed name is quite natural, we don't really need to disambiguate Selfstudier (talk) 14:59, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I probably should have cited WP:NCDAB, which, as you say, notes: "Natural disambiguation that is unambiguous, commonly used, and clear is generally preferable to parenthetical disambiguation." So parenthetical disambiguation should only play as second fiddle to natural disambiguation, as and where necessary - and here it is clearly unnecessary. In addition, other pages related to Rome Statute crimes, see Crime of aggression, already follow this convention - making the case for consistency. Iskandar323 (talk) 15:16, 2 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
