This page should not be speedy deleted because...
editThis page should not be speedily deleted because... there is a big feedback in the international press. --Heimkinderverband (talk) 13:01, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
- Maybe, but he is not notable except for this.Slatersteven (talk) 13:04, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
The rescue attempt is notable, perhaps the page name should be altered accordingly. Nolween (talk) 13:53, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
- Agree, In the spanish wikipedia this page is named after the rescue attempt, not the child. An entire mountain has been removed for the rescue, I'm pretty sure this is going to be notable after many years. --Alesis69 (talk) 21:35, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
Why should this page be deleted and not the pages on the other children from many decades ago? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.23.136.231 (talk) 02:19, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- Generally because they are still be referred to in the media after decades.Slatersteven (talk) 11:05, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- Alfredo Rampi wasn't noticeable as well, so you guys might want to delete that article, too. 101.174.0.17 (talk) 06:24, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
Not a news feed
editThus we do not need updates, lets not use this as a news feed.Slatersteven (talk) 13:43, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
Deceased
editSince my edits were reverted, here is proof Rosello has died. 101.174.0.17 (talk) 06:24, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
Rescue
editAs he was not rescued why is this article still titled "rescue of..."? They failed to rescue him.Slatersteven (talk) 10:40, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
- It was called "death of julen rosello" yesterday [1]; and before that just 'julen rosello" [2] -- 70.51.201.106 (talk) 08:52, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
- Also you recover, you do not rescue a body.Slatersteven (talk) 10:14, 31 January 2019 (UTC)

Attempted rescue of Julen Roselló → Death of Julen Roselló – "Attempted rescue of" is not a standard title on Wikipedia [3] (this is the only one); this should use the typical title format. Many people have articles who have died unrescued, after failed rescue attempts. -- 70.51.201.106 (talk) 07:50, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
It also reads silly and slightly puffy. Our standard convention is just the name, why was this moved in the first place?Slatersteven (talk) 10:31, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
- Support. The death of Rosello was the primary event. Attempts to rescue him, and then to recover his body, were secondary. WWGB (talk) 00:15, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
- Support: I disagree with the idea that the "standard convention is just the name" – the notable aspect is the event, not the child; see WP:BIO1E – "The general rule is to cover the event, not the person." —BarrelProof (talk) 01:54, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
