'...and is one of the oldest established airlines in Britain except for Loganair and Monarch Airlines. '
editWhat does this mean? It is the oldest after Loganair and Monarch Airlines? Or it is one of the oldest (Loganiar and Monarch Airlines being older). Is this sentence illogical or am I just a bit tap? 86.165.130.244 (talk) 00:28, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

Aurigny Air Services → Aurigny – The airline nearly always referred to as Aurigny, and very rarely referred to by its full name. Their official website is aurigny
- Agree, it makes a lot of sense. Ânes-pur-sàng (talk) 21:05, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
- Does anyone call Alderney Aurigny (in English)? — AjaxSmack 21:19, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
- Not often in English, people in the Channel Islands tend to know what "Aurigny" means but rarely use it to mean the island. However it is the French name for Alderney Aurigny Ânes-pur-sàng (talk) 21:13, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
- Agree, per common name - in English it us unlikely to be a reference to the island rather than the airline. MilborneOne (talk) 17:51, 15 September 2016 (UTC)
- Agree, makes sense. I also agree that using the short form is consistent with the title format of other airline articles (e.g. Quantas, Vueling), if doing so doesn't create an ambiguity with another article. Carbonix (talk) 13:43, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
