Prominent vs. predominant

edit

In the example sentence

[Babm:] V pajio ci htaj, lrid cga coig pegayx pe bamb ak cop pbagt.
[English:] I am reading this book, which is very interestingly written in Babm by a predominant scholar.

quoted from Okrent, is "predominant" actually intended? If (as I suspect) "prominent" was actually intended, was the error Okamoto's, Okrent's, or the Wikipedian's? --Haruo (talk) 16:12, 10 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

The error is in the original by Okomato, who also in the same sentence refers to the language as bamb not babm. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Soggy Wombat (talkcontribs) 07:19, 14 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Capitalization

edit

If the letters used represent syllables instead of sounds, shouldn't all the letters be capitalized? UseGodsStandards (talk) 11:53, 14 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
