Title capitalization
editShould the name be in all caps like that, or should we Wikify it, as not an acronym but a proper name? Chris 22:58, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
:I wasn't really sure what wikipedia's stand is on the all caps/Japanese thing. The other article (pre existing) that mentioned the shop (Shimotsuma Monogatari) had it in all caps, and the official website has the name in all caps, so I made it all caps. Calicore 03:20, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Moved to current page name, see Talk:HANADEKA. Calicore 17:35, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
Reversion (3/11/06)
editFashion house would be the norm for a specialized fashion company like BTSSB, see haute couture. Secondly, sweet lolita is the specific term for the certain type of clothing that BTSSB specializes in, see the definition at lolita fashion. ...added by Calicore
- If you say so. But do you really want the spelling mistakes too? -- Hoary 06:45, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
- Corrected ^_^;. Calicore 07:15, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Rated a stub by Japan project. Low-importance because I don't really see the effect outside Japan yet. Daniel Case 02:10, 26 March 2007 (UTC) |

Requested move 23 September 2024
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Moved. (With the clothing brand moved to Baby, the Stars Shine Bright (brand).) Consensus except on what specific disambiguation to use, so I will WP:NOTCURRENTTITLE/WP:BARTENDER close this to the late-coming suggestion, (brand), as concise and precise. If there is good reason to use a different disambiguator, then editors are invited to open a new requested move for that purpose. - Baby, The Stars Shine Bright → Baby, the Stars Shine Bright (apparel)
- Baby, the Stars Shine Bright → Baby, the Stars Shine Bright (album)
– New York Times (link), The Cut (link), and The Mercury News (link) uses the lowercase "t" for "the." Victoria & Albert Museum (link) uses both capitalizations, but there seems to be more of a precedence using the lowercase version. Even the English websites use the lowercase spelling (see the NYC location and SF location). I'm also open for it to be renamed Baby, the Stars Shine Bright (clothing). lullabying (talk) 01:24, 23 September 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. ASUKITE 15:12, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment Let's add Baby, the Stars Shine Bright → Baby, the Stars Shine Bright (album) to the nomination. In no way is this a WP:DIFFCAPS situation. 162 etc. (talk) 03:23, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- Seems like a good idea. How can we do that? lullabying (talk) 04:33, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
- I've added it above. jlwoodwa (talk) 20:16, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

- Support, but prefer Baby, the Stars Shine Bright (clothing brand). -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:00, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- I used a similar naming convention to Thomas Mason (apparel) and Bonobos (apparel). lullabying (talk) 02:30, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
- Should be renamed Thomas Mason (clothing brand) and Bonobos (company). -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:25, 27 September 2024 (UTC)

- Support per nom, but using Baby, The Stars Shine Bright → Baby, the Stars Shine Bright (clothing brand), not "(apparel)" or "(apparel brand)," as User:Necrothesp mentioned. The two words have very similar definitions, but Wikipedia categorizes those articles as Category:Clothing brands instead of "apparel" or "apparel brands", so I'll vote for the use of "clothing." - Note that Category:Clothing brands contains articles with various disambiguation tags, with no clear preference. In the spirit of keeping things precise yet brief, "(brand)" is probably best. 162 etc. (talk) 14:59, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- Good point. (brand) is concise and has my !vote. Andrewa (talk) 20:44, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
