I have just provided substantial updates regarding the short period when Taymouth Castle was a boarding school. I was a teacher there in 1971, and in 2001 I set up a website to commemorate the school's existence. I spent a great deal of time tracking down alumni and retrieving relevant documents and photographs for this website. My major edit to the Wikipedia entry regarding the school uses this resource in most of the citations. The previous entry had no citations, was only a sentence or two long, and provided incorrect information regarding the period of the school's existence, and also the assertion that the students were the children of US servicemen (none of the students as far as I can remember had such parents). The one remaining problem now is that the last two paragraphs don't really belong under the heading of 'Boarding School'. I didn't want to remove or shift them because they are clearly important in the overall history of the castle. Perhaps a Wikipedia editor will do this. I removed all of your work because it is self-published and part of a campaign you have undertaken to promote yourself on Wikipedia. You also used a couple of citations in a way that violates WP:SYNTH. Binksternet (talk) 04:23, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
