Is the town misspelled? I think it should be Al Fashir not El Fasher
editIs the town misspelled? It should be Al-Fashir not El Fasher. Plub2 (talk) 01:05, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
- Most sources refer to the town as El Fasher, despite the Arabic transliteration being al-Fashir. Jebiguess (talk) 21:14, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- I agree with this. The wikipedia page for the city is titled Al Fashir. It should be the same for this. Eehuiio (talk) 22:59, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
Should the title be changed to the Siege of El Fasher?

Shouldn't it be Al Fashir, and not El Fasher?
editEven the sources call it El Fasher, the town itself is called Al Fashir. Shouldnt it be changed to Siege of Al Fashir or Battle of Al Fashir? Eehuiio (talk) 01:48, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

- Done I added this update. I have used Sudan Tribune multiple times and cross-checked the information when possible and it always checks out. FuzzyMagma (talk) 08:04, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
