Mormant or Mormans
editSo what is it? French Wiki calls it the Battle of Mormant. It was fought in Mormant. I think this was a typo.

- COMMENT: Does this battle even exist, and ... if it does, is it a defeat or victory? REPLY: A list of sources has been added. Anyone can look it up in the sources. It was a clear French victory.
- COMMENT: The Russians were commanded not by Petr Alekseyevich Palen, but by his son. REPLY: You are correct. It has been changed to Pyotr Petrovich Palen, the son.
- COMMENT: French Wiki calls it the Battle of Mormant. It was fought in Mormant. I think this was a typo. REPLY: You are correct. The name has since been changed from Mormans to Mormant.
