Is this a real battle?
editI have searched for any scholarly sources listing "Battle of Pace's Ferry" as a acknowledged Civil War battle. So far, I haven't found any. An exhaustive internet search only came up with websites which have copied the text of this article. If this is a real Civil War battle, it shouldn't be difficult to find some sources that verify it. I am not convinced it is, and this might be original research. MaxVeers (talk) 02:36, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- You're right. It is not listed in here, for example:
- Phisterer, Frederick. Statistical Record of the Armies of the United States. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1886. Hal Jespersen (talk) 17:54, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- For the records, references to the skirmish have been added in 2015. ...GELongstreet (talk) 20:56, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
