there was only one infantry battle in wolka weglowa on 19 th of september 1939 the germans were dug in in the willage polish infantry at the edge of the forest early morning the battle started that lasted all day we all sat in the potato cellars listning listning to it all just before dark germans withdrew to mosciska and radiowo there was only 11 polish soldiers left the rest were killied and wounded who were walking over the willage winding up german telephone lines while all the men from the willage cllected all wounded in to the houses then buried all killed in the morning all houses were full of wounded and gardens and fields full of graves even on the road where one fell was buried there in a shallow grave next morning germans returned and took care of the wounded follow them came big guns which they started errecting in front of the willage priparing a sige of warsaw now all willage was evacuated now leaving willage i saw between wolka and radiowo 24 big guns farther on on the road to laski i saw several cavarly horses dead blown like bbaloons farther on i saw severall german graves so if there was that cavarly charge it would be here but there was no way they could brake through to warsaw in a week after heavy bombardmend warsaw surrended in the spring men from the willage were digging up all the bodies and carried them on horse and cart to a new cemetery at laski where they wre buried with the help of school children ingludding my selve at 12 years old where we have buried 720 the other 2500 who fell outside wolka weglowa were buried at kelpin cemetery in two mass graves i have this in front of my eyes every day of my live i want all new generations to know how it realy was eugeniusz wojciechowski syn wolki weglowej 31 9 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.16.138.63 (talk) 21:21, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

THIS FAMOUS CAVARLYCHLY CHARGE AT WOLKA WEGLOWA ON 19 TH OF SEPTEMBER 1939 ACTUALY TOOK PLACE MILE FROM WOLKA WEGLOWA NEAR THE VILLAGE OF LASKI WHILE A REAL BATTLE WITH INFANTRY WHICH HAD LASTED ALL DAY INWOLVING REMAINS OF TWO ARMIES POZNAN AND POMORZE WHICH LOST WELL OVER 3000 MEN IS NOT EVEN MENTION NEXT SPRING 720 WHO FELL IN WOLKA WEGLOWA WERE DUG UP AND TRANSPORTED ON HORSE AND CART TO A NEW LASKI CEMETERY WHERE THEY WERE BURIED BY MEN WITHOUT HORSE AND CART INCLUDDING SCHOOL CHILDREN FROM 10 TO 14 I WAS ONLY 12 YEARS OLD THOSE WHO FELL OUT SIDE WOLKA WEGLOWA WERE BURIED AT KELPIN CEMETERY 2500 OF THEM IN TWO MASS GRAVES ALL THIS CAN BE CHECKED I PUT MY NAME TO IT 9 MONTH PREVIOUSLY THE SAME MEN BURIED THOSE SOLDIERS IN SHALLOW GRAVES THIS IS NOT AN EXPERIMENT THIS IS THE TRUE STORY WHICH I HAVE SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES AND HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT ALL MY LIFE THIS IS WHAT HURTS ME MOST THAAT THOSE MEN DIED FOR NOTHING AND ARE NOT EVEN REMEMBERD BUT THERE IS A MONUMENT AT LOMIANKI TO THEIR LEADER EUGENIUSZ WOJCIECHOWSKI SON OF WOLKA WEGLOWA —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.16.138.63 (talk) 17:34, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

the facts about battle of wolka weglowa on september 1939

there was 3720 polish infantry men killed im and arround wolka weglowa in a battle that lasted all day 2500 of them are buried at kelpin cemetery in two mass graves 5oo of them in wawrzyszew cemetery and 720 in laski cemetery all this can be checked but all the glory for it went to husaria polish cavarly regiment which has never been in wolka weglowa and to their leader to whom a monument was build in lomianki while his men are not even mention in history all glory was reserved for that famous cavarly charge which took place near the village of laski two kilometers from wolka weglowa it is about time history goy it wright eyes witness son of wolka weglowa eugeniusz wojciechowski 28 12 2008 PLEASE PRESERV THIS FOR HISTORY the battle took place 0n 19 september 1939 and i was there —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.27.194.106 (talk) 20:20, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
