Assessment

edit

I have assesed this article, the feedback given was: This article needs a large cleanup, currently it reads like an essay. More references, an infobox and more structure would also help improve the article. Camaron1 | Chris 10:53, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think the whole article needs a re-write. The grammar school section is too thin, and the reference to Braid is too bald. I went to the grammar school in 1971, its final year. There was no Latin on the syllabus. Half of us had to do French, half German. There was no choice in the matter. Hampshire had been big on education and libraries, and the school had history well before 1972.

Queen Victoria

edit

Queen Victoria used the house on a visit via Gosport. [citation needed]

Not impossible, but the on-site history, Bay House, A Nobleman's Seaside Residence, doesn't mention her among the many other celebrities who visited there. Gordonofcartoon 19:27, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
