- Per WP:FRMOS we follow modern French spelling, not 1703 spelling conventions from rural parish registers; Benoît is Benoît, the first name "Benoit" does not now exist in France. We do not attempt to duplicate Olde Englyshe or Olde French spellings in articles. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:51, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
- Also please note WP:FULLNAME in leads. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:16, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
Sources
editAre there any other sources for this bio other than Verberkmoes, Geerten (2013). "Benoit Joseph Boussu (1703-1773): Violin Maker and Notary". Galpin Society Journal 66: 117–138. It's great when someone comes and adds their article to en.wp, not a WP:COI issue, but still, more than 1 source is good. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:16, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
- Okay there is one Book source, I have added it, also museum index. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:34, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
