New Source
editThe German Historical Institute in Washington, DC has published a short biographical article on Bernard Heinrich Kroger that can be found here: http://www.immigrantentrepreneurship.org/entry.php?rec=49 Immigrantentrep (talk) 20:55, 30 May 2013 (UTC)
Problems
editThis article needs a lot more citation. It is also slim on info and should probably be merged with the larger Kroger article Apoc753 (talk) 03:50, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
Not really
editI've worked on this page for a while - it seems the Kroger corporate page is currently being "enhanced" by folks using it to build the Kroger corporate brand. There are Kroger marketing materials used as references on the Kroger corporate page that have been excised from this page because they were not "objective".
I feel strongly this biography would ultimately be poorly condensed and "disappear" if it were merged into the Kroger corporate page, consigning Bernard Kroger to greater anonymity. If the Bernard Kroger page stands alone it will allow further additions to his personal biography, separate from the Kroger corporate page. With $119 billion dollars in annual sales, Kroger is the third largest retailer in the US (only 1 billion dollars behind Amazon's $ 120 billion dollars annually). Should we merge Jeff Bezos' or Sam Walton's biographies into the Amazon or Walmart pages? WmArbaugh (talk) 10:37, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
