Proof of claim that Ark merged with Mandriva?

I was the webmaster for, and a beta tester of, the now discontinued Ark Linux, and I still hang out in their IRC channel, where their head developer still appears. He has NEVER mentioned merging with Mandriva, nor can I find evidence of this in Google.
