This coaster is pretty interesting so I'll review this. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 18:37, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Images check out fine, while I do not like having people in them, it is not a concern as Six flags is a public place. Though this image is a bad choice. [1] It doesn't grasp the scale of the coaster and the view is only so-so.

Unfortunately, the pictures on Commons are the best there are. I always go and find the best pictures when I nominate an article and that's the best I could find.--Astros4477 (talk) 22:16, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality. Check

No edit wars. Check

Prose seems fine as well.

However, the problem lies in the fact that the previous incarnation, which is still the same coaster, is entirely forgotten. What about the Superman Ride of Steel theme, what about its features? While it has been given a new theme, the coaster still is Superman at its core. There is little about it being the icon of the park. For the rankings, "Bizarro is praised hugely by the roller coaster community, and the ride is noted for its smoothness and large amount of airtime." Seems a bit subjective, remove 'hugely' and I believe the smoothness comes from its steel construction compared against wood. As for 'air-time' I don't know, its more 'push you back in the seat' than air time in my eyes. I just thing it could use some expansion, maybe information about its designer and more on the construction and the cost of the coaster.

I've never been on the coaster so I don't know specifics about the ride experience. Also, steel roller coasters can be way worse than wooden coasters sometimes. I could add a section about the Theme of the ride. That's been done in other articles but from what I've been able to tell, there wasn't much of a theme before the transformation besides simply calling it, Superman. I'll look for more info.--Astros4477 (talk) 22:25, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
I just looked everywhere I could and could not find anything more on the construction. It looks like the park didn't release the actually cost of the coaster itself, just the entire expansion project.--Astros4477 (talk) 23:07, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I'll put it on hold for now. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 18:51, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wish I had pictures of the old Superman version. And while it didn't have much of a theme as in talking and 'bizarro' comments, it was still hyped up the old one had a backdrop of Metropolis themed buildings and the Superman movie theme playing in the queue line. Might be worth noting. A secondary review, not a RS for much, but it backs what I experienced. [2] Also the ride itself did get billed as a lot of airtime... perhaps I didn't notice it when going 70 mph. Looking at both youtube videos, the Bizarro only introduces the 'fly through buildings' and the yellow superman shields, but it lacked the mist of the Superman itself. Though I do remember it taking your picture and 'surviving' as bit of a sell point. It is noted in this highbeam article, [3], but the park itself was redone with the DC hero theme, so while the highlight of the park I guess there isn't too much to be said about it. And while I found the construction video on youtube, it is not the one I was looking for or the details of the plans and the layout I once seen previously... Call it a loss. I can't fault you for something I can't find, even though I know it exists. It has been a decade. Think it could still work some of the old theme into it. Plenty of newpaper articles on the ride itself, but few on the theme. Might have to dig around in the coaster handbook... it might have something there. That's the problem with getting roller coaster articles to GAN, the information gets lost very easily. We want every roller coaster to be like GateKeeper (roller coaster) which has all the info anyone would ever need. However, its hard to find the information over a decade ago. I'll add some more about the theme.--Astros4477 (talk) 23:59, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
I added some info on the old theme.--Astros4477 (talk) 01:17, 4 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
I haven't been able to find anything substantial... I think I might pass this soon, I just want to give it a good shot to have some extra info added. Though it does meet the criteria about being broad in scope. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 00:57, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
Passed GA. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 15:07, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
