I am going to change the date that Plaid left Black Dog to 1995 since that is when I understand it to have happened (after Spanners) and that is when the cited article (NME) says they did leave. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Edvvc (talk • contribs) 18:44, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Black Dog Productions → The Black Dog (band) – I think we should rename this The Black Dog (band) as the group is actually called The Black Dog, not Black Dog Productions. The name BDP was used for one album only (Bytes), and this was due to the fact that the aforementioned album was not a group effort but was in fact comprised of tracks made individually by each member under a number of pseudonyms. Please refer to their homepage http://theblackdogma.com or better yet, see the detailed discography at http://www.discogs.com/artist/Black+Dog%2C+The for comprehensive information on their releases. --Relisted Tyrol5 [Talk] 02:26, 10 January 2013 (UTC) Tetsuo the cat (talk) 16:49, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- Comment should the article The Black Dog also be renamed to The Black Dog (restaurant) ? (Thus "The Black Dog" would redirect to the diambiguation page Black dog (disambiguation) ) -- 70.24.248.246 (talk) 05:40, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- I would think a hatnote on The Black Dog would be sufficient. However with that said, arguably the band has more hits thank the restaurant, so perhaps the band is the primary topic. Tiggerjay (talk) 19:16, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Support the move as that appears to be the primary topic of this article. Tiggerjay (talk) 19:17, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
