Winglets?
editIt appears to have two short wing-tip winglets. Do we know anything more about these? They seem an unusual feature so early on. Andy Dingley (talk) 19:31, 6 September 2017 (UTC)
- They were supporting masts for a radio aerial, a system of wires stretching between the wings, fuselage and tail. In the second of the images in the article, some of these wires have been airbrushed out. They do not appear to have had any aerodynamic significance, as Vogt dropped them when he dropped the antenna design. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 13:23, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
