The Boiling Springs Tavern is part of the rich history of the town of Boiling Springs. In the 1800s, the town attracted thousands of visitors to the bubbling, supposedly healing, springs. I hope to add a lot more information to this article, so it should not be hastily deleted.
Also, I am hoping that others, seeing this page, will add to the information, making it a community effort. If it is "speedily deleted," then how can this be done, oh Great and Wise and Speedy Admin? Darcy.goshorn (talk) 20:38, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
- I declined the speedy deletion nomination, since it appears that the tavern might be part of the Boiling Springs Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Actually, if anyone can come up with any material about the historic district, it would be worthwhile, since I'm sure that there's historic material about the town besides just the tavern. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 21:18, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
