please make any improvements to this article that you can! I find that there is to much confucion regarding the Mariinsky and the original Bolshoi Kammeny. Some even beleive that the Mariinksy is just the Bolshoi Kammeny renamed! Anyway this confucion lead me to feel that the theatre needed it own article, not to mention some very important premieres of various Russian ballets and operas took place there until 1886.
