I always find it strange that there is nothing directly commemorating the Bolton Massacre in Bolton. --jmb (talk) 12:31, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm not surprised. Many present-day Boltonians try to emphasise their Royal connections at the expense of historical accuracy.Fletcherbrian (talk) 14:37, 1 September 2014 (UTC)

Contradictory dates

The introductory paragraph and the infobox state that the massacre occurred on 28 May, yet "The storming" section starts with "Late on 29 May ...". Can someone please resolve this obvious and confusing contradiction in dates. Thanks. Truthanado (talk) 15:03, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Its great that some more recent scholarship has been incorporated into this article, but please note that Penny Robert and Mark Levine didn't do the analysis, they edited the book that it was in.--SabreBD (talk) 20:44, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
