Copied this from main page, didnt check the original comment author: From lots of research i have come to find out that the ONLY 94-95 Chevrolet S-10 2.2 liter uses a T-5 world class transmission all other years for the 2.2 96 and up use a different transmission — Preceding unsigned comment added by RickO5 (talkcontribs) 23:31, 30 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

The quote . . . "1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro (World-Class T-5 with RPO code MK6)" . . . can be a little more accurate. The 1982-1987 had the Non-World Class T-5. The 1988-1992 Camaros had the World-Class T-5. Just for FYI.

Most sources (in fact, every one of which I'm aware except for Wikipedia and Wikipedia-derived sources) indicate that the MN12 Thunderbirds (with manual transmissions from 1989 until 1995) use 4R70W transmissions, not T-5s. Can somebody provide a citation to prove differently? In the meantime, I'm changing it to reflect only the '83-'88 Fox-body Thunderbirds, and adding the '83-'86 Mercury Cougar. Ford's 4R70W is an automatic transmission, and therefore almost completely irrelevant to a discussion of manual transmission. 71.95.232.228 04:55, 4 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
True. While the automatic 4R70W was the most common MN12 transmission, I meant to refer to the M5R2 manual transmission as what was used in the Super Coupes and early XR7s, and apparently wasn't paying enough attention when typing. Vykk (talk) 21:25, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
