Comment re deletion
editI don't see why this page needs to be deleted - after all we have Bristol City Council Elections, 1995, so why not a more current one?
As for it being in the future, so are the articles on the next UK general election.
And as for not enough information, what else would you like to see included? Bearing in mind the results of the election will be posted here after the 4th June. Sam 14:27, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- I agree that this page should not be deleted. We do have articles on many such local elections such as the ones inCategory:Council elections in Greater London, Category:Council elections in North West England, Category:Council elections in North East England, Category:Council elections in South East England, Category:Council elections in South West England, Category:Council elections in Yorkshire and the Humber, Category:Council elections in the East Midlands, Category:Council elections in the East of England and Category:Council elections in the West Midlands. As Bristol is one of the largest councils in England it is certainly at least as notable as these other elections. There have also been multiple such AFDs where these elections have never been deleted such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Windsor municipal election, 1991, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Birmingham Council election, 2008, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stevenage Council election, 2003, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fujimi mayoral election, 2008, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Minato mayoral election, 2008 and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kettering Council election, 2007 showing the strong precedent that such elections are not deleted.
