I have checked up the Belgian War Dead Register website which has details for both the brothers, giving (not mentioned presently in this article) their dates of birth. Edward (born 7 October 1895) was 21 when killed in 1917, aged 19 when he enlisted in August 1914, while Frans was 20 at his death and would have been 17 at enlistment, their death ages were therefore not 17 and 18. I will amend the information, adding their BWDR record as citations in due course.Cloptonson (talk) 19:52, 19 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
