I'm not linking it in the article because it's not appropriate there, but there is a secondary Wordpress site associated with the Butterley Gangroad Project (see [1], [2]) that might be a useful source of pointers to primary and/or reliable secondary sources on this: https://butterleygangroad.wordpress.com/
Among the resources linked there is a photo of a really good diagram of the layout of the entire system from a Butterley Company brochure [3]. I wonder if any of the members of the Butterley Gangroad Project would be interested in contributing to this article, or putting any of their materials under a license that would enable them to be submitted here or on Wikimedia Commons? -- The Anome (talk) 15:04, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
