editThis article is really just a stub of an article... No history...nothing about CD-Now's underground (bootleg) beginnings...etc —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reboot (talk • contribs)

I don't have the material myself, I'm speaking only from memory. Reboot 13:44, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Cdnow.logo.gif
editImage:Cdnow.logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

There's no mention of your ability to buy things recommended from Firefly.com or the fact that CDNow had the largest database of recording industry professionals and the projects they worked on all searchable and connected to the CDs (think IMDB). Like how Microsoft gutted Firefly, Amazon gutted the CDNow-specific recommendations system and the searchable "credits" database. That's what you get when you sell out, folks. -Reticuli —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.178.144.31 (talk) 21:36, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
CDNow Hack
editThe 2001 data breach at CDNow was a significant event in the history of this company, yet it is not mentioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.80.46.37 (talk • contribs) 03:15, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

2nd paragraph
editThe second paragraph is so badly written I can't even fathom the meaning well enough to attempt to rewrite it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.188.192.8 (talk) 12:09, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on CDNow. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20100608131213/http://www.allbusiness.com:80/retail-trade/miscellaneous-retail-retail-stores-not/4393077-1.html to http://www.allbusiness.com/retail-trade/miscellaneous-retail-retail-stores-not/4393077-1.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
