@Hog Farm: just a quick query, before the DYK for this article goes live - the hook says that "the officers" of the ship remained and entered Confederate service, while the article names three officers - Breshwood, Caldwell and Fister - explicitly. Does the source say that those three constituted all of the ship's officers? Since that is implied by the hook, it would be good to add a line to the article confirming that those three were indeed all of the officers, to make sure the hook fact is fully covered.
