PA0407 Caspian Hyrcanian mixed forests is a WWF Ecoregion, this name must stay, Jungles of Iran should disappear. --Chris.urs-o (talk) 12:39, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
New content and merge
editI worked up the new content by an Iranian anonymous editor. However, I didn't understand, what do he/she mean with: "[areas] that are candidates for nomination in this dossier". For what nomination?
I also merged this article with Jungles of Iran, as proposed, and made the latter a redirect. Krasanen (talk) 19:54, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
Protected areas
editWhat about Sisāngan Park in Iran? It is now not included in the list. Krasanen (talk) 14:42, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Caspian Hyrcanian mixed forests → Hyrcanian forests – Common name. Even Unesco, known for its sometimes artificial-sounding names, calls it Hyrcanian Forests. I propose lowercase "forests" since it is much more common in sources (see ngram).
