URGENT: Cat-iq is wrong spelling, it must be CAT-iq (trademark and official technology name). Proposal to change page title and start editing. ≈≈≈≈
CAT-iq and Voice Encryption
editObviously, the mere cat-iq conformity of a device does not at all mean, that the devices' radiofrequency-transmission uses voice encryption. The DECT standard specifies voice encryption only as an option. It is very obvious, that a dictation concerning legally protected professional secrets should be encrypted, when using a wireless dictation device. Anything else would cause the allegation of a professional fault. So, encryption should be a CAT-iq key item. Is is? --79.202.211.181 (talk) 16:00, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
