Cayenne – Rochambeau AirportCayenne – Félix Eboué Airport – (New name for airport) --Relisted JHunterJ (talk) 00:24, 14 June 2012 (UTC)92.14.181.53 (talk) 18:59, 3 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Don't move. Are there independent sources which use the new name? I had a quick look at ATW and Flightglobal, and didn't find anything. Google News results for Cayenne + airport are polluted by Porsches; stripping out those just leaves this article which uses both old and new names. I tried plugging "Félix Eboué" into a ticket booking engine, and got nothing. We don't always let official names overrule common names, but I'd be happy to go along with the new one if/when there's evidence that the new name is becoming adopted by the rest of the world. bobrayner (talk) 10:50, 6 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Still lacking sources that support the new name, I'm going to say "don't move". bobrayner (talk) 11:58, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

The result of the proposal was The page was moved. The sources, even though most of them are in French, clearly demonstrate that the airport was officially renamed. Ymblanter (talk) 20:52, 10 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Those sources are not in English, so the name change is still premature. This is the English Wikipedia, so we use terms used by English speakers. And also, your sources don't seem to be third-party sources, the type of source the Wikipedia editors prefer. Hill Crest's WikiLaser (Boom.) (talk) 15:04, 24 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
