Updating this page
editHi there, I am an employee of CentralNic and have found a something on this article that I think should be changed, but I don't want to breach Wikipedia's guidelines relating to conflicts of interest. I will make my suggestions on this talk page, but I won't edit the main article unless no-one else is willing to do so, and there are no objections to the changes I wish to make:
Firstly, there are scare quotes around the word "domains" in the first paragraph. This doesn't seem like it's written from a neutral point of view. A better wording would be something like this: "CentralNic is a domain registry based in London, England that currently manages the .la top-level domain, and offers sub domains under us.com, uk.com, eu.com, and other domain names. These domain names have been relatively popular and sold across a wide range of domain registrars."
Thanks, Gavin Brown (talk) 15:55, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- Agreed, I've removed the quotes and improved the sentence flow. TechnoSymbiosis (talk) 23:25, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- Many thanks, I've removed the request tags. Gavin Brown (talk) 11:42, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

CentralNic → Team Internet – company rebranding Bruno.Giacomini (talk) 10:54, 4 September 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). Bruno.Giacomini (talk) 12:35, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- "Team Internet" is the official new name of the company formerly known as "CentralNic"; I can't understand why it fails WP:COMMONNAME, since there is no other possible name form to relate to the company. https://www.londonstockexchange.com/discover/news-and-insights/centralnic-commemorates-decade-london-stock-exchange-distinguished-rebrand-team-internet.
