The result of the move request was: consensus to move Chapmen to Chapman (occupation), and no consensus to move Chapman at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 08:01, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
– Chapmen should be singular per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (plurals), and is the primary topic (as the derivative word for the name and hence many of the topics). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:41, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose making it primary topic. The surname is far more prominent than the occupation. I do agree that it should be the singular term, so Chapman (occupation) should work. —Xezbeth (talk) 12:19, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
