Chester Municipal District, Nova Scotia → Municipality of the District of Chester – move over redirect per established consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Nova Scotia#Municipal districts are actually district municipalities (potential article moves) Hwy43 (talk) 01:17, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

- @Hwy43: :: But add ", Nova Scotia" to distinguish from Chester in England, etc. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:45, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- As this is the only possible topic in the world that would compete for the title of "Municipality of the District of Chester", disambiguation beyond that is not necessary. It is a unique name unless there is another municipality out there with the exact same official legal name. Hwy43 (talk) 06:18, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Chester in England (where I have often visited) also has a municipality. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:55, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

- I strongly support the move. Although there is a Chester in England, there is no Municipality of the District of Chester which is the admittedly cumbersome, but official name for the place. Also looking at the Chester page, it appears Chester is an unparished area within the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester, meaning there would be no municipality within Chester proper also called Chester and so no conflict would arise. - Support. Nova Scotia not needed as the name of Chester UK's municipal govt is Cheshire West and Chester, names are not similar. A disambig or not to be confused on the page should suffice. WayeMason (talk) 22:59, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Strongly support. -- B.S. Lawrence (talk) 19:18, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
