Chris Cox (entertainer)Chris Cox (magician) – fails WP:AT on naturalness and precision. Conflicts with Chris Cox (DJ) and Chris Cox (voice actor) from Halloween on Spooner Street. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:32, 11 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Those clippings from http://magiccox.com/press/‎ (note the website magiccox.com) prove the opposite. You do realise that the Guardian article would first have described Chris Cox as a magician or mentalist? "The magician Chris Cox is one of the most exciting entertainers in Britain" - do you seriously think the Guardian wrote a review of his magic show without first telling readers it was a magic show by a magician doing magic? Same with TV3 New Zealand. Magicians are a subcategory of entertainer. You could rename every (magician) on en.wp with this argument. Daryl (magician), Steve Cohen (magician), Gazzo (magician), David Copperfield (illusionist), Lu Chen (magician), John Calvert (magician). Why have the (magician) (mentalist) (illusionist) dabs at all? In ictu oculi (talk) 00:07, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
And what about Chris Cox (DJ) and Chris Cox (voice actor) from Halloween on Spooner Street, aren't they also (entertainer)s? In ictu oculi (talk) 00:10, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support: The fact that his magic may be entertaining should not stop him from being primarily known as a magician (regardless of whether the DJ or the voice actor are also entertaining or not). —BarrelProof (talk) 00:28, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
Incidentally, there is also a possibility that the writer may have been entertaining as well (especially when he appeared in The Two Gentlemen of Verona), and the Facebook executive has been referred to as a "Rock Star" and shows an interest in "human stories", so he's probably entertaining to listen to as well. Orchestras are rather entertaining too, so let's not forget the conductor. Perhaps even the NRA lobbyist and some of the several politicians might be somewhat entertaining (although perhaps not). —BarrelProof (talk) 00:46, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
