There is something wrong with the heritage listing. It says it was built from 1927 to 1928, but it also says "the opening service at the new Christ church was held on 7 October, 1860" and the chronology mentions nothing happening to the church between then and 1978. All the £ symbols in this article have been linked to £A, this would be more accurate if it was linked Pounds Sterling £, as the Australian Pound was not introduced until 1910.
I am going to fix this anomaly.
