Slavery a Moral Defect

edit

Being aware an act is wrong (according the law) and doing it anyway is widely used definition of moral defect.

If (according past laws of the United States) it was wrong to help a runaway slave, and I yet did I could be held as "morally defective" under the law.

Christianity slavery

How was that 138.185.76.149 (talk) 03:01, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Christian views on slavery are varied regionally, historically and spiritually.

edit

Won’t it be more accurate to say that slavery was permitted and accepted by the the church and christianity or at least mainstream christianity until the 18-19th century instead of saying “varied historically” ?

And what does “varied spiritually” even mean ? Ikhnatoun (talk) 11:58, 24 December 2022 (UTC) <--- blocked sock of User:Amr.elmowaledReply

Why no section on Europe?

edit

Why are there no section on slavery in Europe? I've noticed these wikipedia articles are becoming more and more negative on christianity and european peoples as times goes by. Perhaps because muslims, asians in general and others who hate us are more active on wikipedia.

It is ridiculus to read this article on slavery in islam and then read this one. The islamic one is very positive. Even if the prophet Muhammad himself owned slaves, enslaved people, had sex slaves and did alot of nasty stuff. 88.94.247.152 (talk) 11:52, 24 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
