Accusation against Chu
editI found a serious accusation against Chu that was only supported by a blog that presented one side of the story. Per the biographies of living persons policy, I removed it immediately. A cursory examination of the literature is enough to see that there is more than side. Two possible sources are:
- Matricon, Jean; Glashausser, Georges Waysand ; translated by Charles (2003). The cold wars : a history of superconductivity. New Brunswick, N.J.: Rutgers University Press. ISBN 9780813532950.
{{cite book}}
: CS1 maint: multiple names: authors list (link) - Hazen, Robert M. (1988). The breakthrough : the race for the superconductor. New York: Summit Books. ISBN 9780671658298..
- Ashburn, James (June 1, 2017). "First Hand: Discovery of Superconductivity at 93 K in YBCO: The View from Ground Zero". Engineering and Technology History Wiki. IEEE. Retrieved October 10, 2017.
The last source listed is included not for its own sake, as it represents a hardly impartial viewpoint of one of the interested parties. However, its linked sources and original documents are easily the most exhaustive single collection of materials relevant to the YBCO discovery. Russellcarden (talk) 20:28, 11 October 2017 (UTC)

Name change needed
editHi wikipedians, Chu's name in most reference/citations is Paul C. W. Chu. So, the wikipedia paper name should be changed from Chu Ching-wu to Paul C. W. Chu. All associated names can be redirected as needed. Thanks, SWP13 (talk) 21:53, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
