Chut language → Chut languages – Chut is a diverse cluster of separate languages. Please consult Babaev & Samarina (2018, 2021), publications by Paul Sidwell, Mark Alves, Michel Ferlus, and many other sources which demonstrate how Chut is not a single language. In fact, the name Chut was devised by the Vietnamese government as a cover term for various diverse Vietic-speaking groups in the region. Lingnanhua (talk) 12:55, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
- Support. Sources on this topic appear to corroborate the nominator's claims that Chut is a group of multiple languages rather than a single one. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 15:05, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
