I removed the {{dated prod}} notice, as it was suggested on my talk page, I will explain here why. First, I consider improving the article to address the issues raised. I guess the way to go is by citing references as well as by changing the style of the writting into biography. Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 21:27, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, yes, please do that as soon as you can. With the PROD tag removed the article needs prompt improvement or it will be submitted for AfD. Good luck with it! Setwisohi (talk) 22:05, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for notice. I will need a couple of days. I wish it is alright. I guess this is likely to result in improving the inter-wiki links too, so this may be a secondary interesting effect. --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 22:28, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
I see you've added and improved some bits of the article. But note that it's most important to make it clear in the article just how/that/why this artist is notable. Nothing really makes that point yet. Setwisohi (talk) 10:20, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I consulted the Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Any_biography and found that one criteria "represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums" is matched: The work of CM Lochu was exposed in 2 museums, and permanently in one of them (I just translated the page the Faure Museum); it is also permanently exposed in 2 galleries. I guess these points should be alighted. --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 20:27, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that sounds ideal. Something like "Lochu is exhibited permanently in ... galleries". And link to the wiki articles for those galleries and/or explain that these are major galleries. (Assuming they are). Setwisohi (talk) 21:20, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your response and suggestion. I have added a sentence in the introduction. These galleries are important ones in Paris and Lyon, the 2 bigger cities in France. I will look for reference for these galleries. I think the text needs also to be improved, and citations to be added. I will work on these issues the coming days. --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 22:23, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have now improved the text and created some links as well. I will need to look for citations to improve the text, and to update it. Would you agree to remove the {{Notability}} after the recent modifications? --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 23:11, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Another aspect which is missing in the article is the fact that Claude-Max Lochu is a committed artist. Painting by professional French artist, Claude-Max Lochu, 'The Xth and XIth Panchen Lamas'.--Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 23:00, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I took away the tag, as I believe the major revisions and answer to suggestions match the request. I thank Setwisohi for suggestions and follow up.--Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 23:06, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
