editAre the English sources using the translated name (cold) instead of transliterating the Russian one? Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:04, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
Most of the English sources writes about "synagogue" or "wooden synagogue", all the Russian and Belarusian use халодная/холодная (cold). On Wikicommons it's 'Chalodnaja' if I remember it right.Artem.G (talk) 06:34, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

Cold synagogue in Mogilev → Cold Synagogue – Capitalization within the article is inconsistent, and it seems intuitive that "Synagogue" would be capitalized here. Either way, "in Mogilev" seems unnecessary, as there is no other entity in the encyclopedia called "Cold Synagogue" at either capitalization. BD2412 T 00:11, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Or move to Cold Synagogue, Mogilev if there are others that may be notable. The construction "in Mogilev" is one that is often seen when Eastern European building names are translated literally into English by editors who do not have English as their first language, but is not intuitive in English. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:16, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Support, but it's better be Cold Synagogue, Mogilev than just Cold Synagogue, because I would soon create Cold Synagogue, Minsk. Artem.G (talk) 19:03, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- No strong objection to Cold Synagogue, Mogilev, but get cracking on Minsk! BD2412 T 05:15, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
