- In 1949, the club, which was named originally Hospicio and then España, received sponsorship from the Ministerio de Comunicaciones (roughly Department of Communications). The branch that directly sponsored them was Correos y Telégrafos (postal and telegraph services, which is why the logo shows a telegraph pole). --ChaChaFut 00:31, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
