Violation by Night of the Big Wind of wp:CHALLENGED
editI would appreciate it if Night of the Big Wind were not to again violate wp:CHALLENGED, which he just did by restoring deleted/challenged material, while failing to supply an inline citation. Night -- please understand this as a civil warning. Thanks.--Epeefleche (talk) 16:51, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
- Do not show off that you do not read the article properly. I have reverted your vandalistic edit. For everyone in the world, except you, it is clear that the table you start editwarring over, is a summery of the table just under it. But I spell it out for you. Do not worry... Night of the Big Wind talk 00:02, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- First, please do not attack me by charging me—falsely—with not having read the article properly.
- Second, you repeatedly/knowingly violated wp:CHALLENGED. Which states: "any material challenged ... must be attributed to a reliable published source using an inline citation. The citation should fully identify the source, and the location within the source (specifying page, section, or such divisions as may be appropriate) where the material is to be found." I requested that you comply with it. I politely warned you. You ignored me. You twice restored challenged material, reverting me. Without supplying the required inline citation. And without, as required, "identifying the location within the source (specifying page, section, or such divisions as may be appropriate) where the material is to be found". In direct contravention of wp:CHALLENGED.
- Third, you abused your Twinkle rights. You used Twinkle to falsely refer to my appropriate deletion of the un-cited material—in accordance with wp:CHALLENGED—as "vandalism".
- Fourth, you violated wp:OR. Another guideline I referred you to in my edit summary. OR requires that you not add material that is a calculation unless you have consensus to do so. Not only did you fail to provide an inline citation to a source that reflected what you referred to as the "summary" totaling in question. But even had you converted the the 277-page EL to an inline citation as you were required to, and even if you had indicated the page in that long document where the material is to be found, you would have been violation wp:OR. Since I don't agree (if found) that a calculation here is obvious, or a meaningful reflection of the sources, adding numbers here (if we can even find them) is not appropriate. Under wp:OR you were bound not to add such information, given lack of consensus for doing so. Yet, you ignored wp:OR and edit warred by repeatedly restoring the information.
- Finally, this comes as part of you following me around the Project. In order to confront my work through edit warring, failing to comply with wp:CHALLENGED, failing to comply with wp:OR, and abusing Twinkle to level an unfounded assertion of vandalism.
- I see that you have also just left me a taunting note accusing me of not doing my "work properly" but rather doing it "dodgy" (completely baseless falsehood -- as my AfD record shows, the vast majority of my AfD noms and !votes are in-consensus, and in fact they are far more so than are yours ... about 4 per cent of mine were non-consensus over my last 250 !votes, while a notably high 40 per cent of your !votes were non-consensus), asserting that I "force" you to do what you are doing, and leaving me a smiley face — — after that statement. That is disruptive and uncivil. --Epeefleche (talk) 07:23, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- The harder you shout, the more you convince me that I have to check out your edits... And |I getting a bit sick of your bad faith attacks. Your status is just the same as mine: foot soldier. Night of the Big Wind talk 08:35, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
- You should have known by now that I have a mind of my own. I vote for what I think is best for Wikipedia, not for what is most conform the guidelines. Guidelines are not always good and correct. Could you please stop harassing me now? I want to do something more interesting then answering your pityful remarks. Night of the Big Wind talk 15:15, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
